JavaScript (React) Developer.

Burst is growing. That’s why we currently have an opportunity for a JavaScript (React) Developer at our Rotterdam office. Are you looking for a challenging job with many diverse projects for exciting (international) brands?

What if you were a JavaScript (React) Developer at Burst

Together with a team of talented and ambitious developers, you develop websites, webshops and campaigns. You will work with a headless setup with a frontend based on React and a backend consisting of an open-source CMS (Drupal or WordPress). This all in combination with other techniques such as Node.js, MongoDB or TypeScript. However feel free to inspire us with new techniques & tools, as long as they fit the project.

You help create work that we are proud of and that ensures our clients want to come back to us. You are at your best when you can give your creativity free reign and pursue optimum quality with UX and animations. You know what you want and how to use your talents to write code that works.

You offer Burst

  • Work experience with React or similar frameworks
  • Good knowledge of and experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and creative development
  • The ability to learn quickly and get to know new tools
  • Independent, proactive en open attitude
  • Enthusiasm about usability, accessibility and W3C-standards

...and preferable also

  • Work experience with (open-source) CMSs or other backend platforms/frameworks
  • English proficiency as we work with international clients on a daily basis
  • Basic knowledge of Gulp and Webpack
